Tarzan #7
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeDark Horse's 1997 adaptation of Edgar Rice Burroughs' jungle lord opens the four-part "Legion of Hate" arc with a striking image: a bloodied, bound Tarzan strains against ropes while a commanding warrior woman stands over him, spear in hand, flanked by several other armed women in a sun-dappled jungle clearing — with what appears to be a fortress visible through the trees behind them. The cover, penciled by Christopher Schenck and Mickie Villa with inks by Schenck, sets a tense mood that suggests the Lord of the Jungle is in serious trouble before the story even begins. With Allan Gross writing and Schenck providing interior art, this is a solid entry point for fans of pulp adventure done with genuine craft.
