In "Tärningen är kastad," Tarzan teams up with the unlikely Tärnings-Joe and Sam Lebongo, an agent from the Världsnaturfonden, to take down Botulus—a corrupt gangster who’s not only murdered Ling Po’s grandson but has also infiltrated the entire city, from the police to the borgmästare. With the help of a network of bribed officials and a smuggling ring trafficking ivory and animal hides, Tarzan and his allies must outwit Botulus before his next move.

In "Hypnotisk makt," Tarzan is drawn into a dangerous web when a group of art thieves coerce the aging hypnotist Gambini into helping them steal the golden rhinoceros of the Kwalunga-folk. Guided by a blind boy named Blinde Ben, Tarzan races to stop the heist—only to fall under Gambini’s spell. With the rhinoceros herd as his unexpected ally, Tarzan must break free from hypnosis and outwit the thieves before the treasure is lost.
