Tarzan #3/1979

In "Maskerad hämnare," Tarzan joins a hunting expedition plagued by a masked avenger determined to settle an old score. The Black Hunter, revealed to be Dave Dexter, once abandoned by his partner Abe Lawson and left to die at the mercy of a black panther, now seeks revenge by training the beast’s cubs to hunt down those who wronged him. As Tarzan confronts the deadly creatures, he must unravel the past before the final, fatal reckoning between Lawson and Dexter.

In "Månens och Solens stad," Tarzan follows the disillusioned medicinman Mugambe into the legendary Kilin, a city said to be ruled by moon and sun. As the jungle's guardian, he soon finds the Matele-folket's ancient wisdom has been replaced by a deceptive illusion crafted by the last sorcerer, Ibn D'Rir—whose power now threatens to vanish with his life.

In "Vad gör flodhästarna galna?", Tarzan and his new companion Keta investigate a series of mysterious boat sinkings along the river, where wild hippopotamuses seem to be attacking without reason. As they uncover a hidden plot involving a mechanical hippopotamus built by white men to terrorize and enslave river travelers, Tarzan must outwit the perpetrators using their own weapons. With the help of Don and the local guide O'Jumbi, he turns the tide—literally and figuratively—before the jungle’s secrets are lost to greed.
