Tarzan #247
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeBased on Edgar Rice Burroughs' enduring creation, this March 1976 DC issue finds Tarzan in a desperate situation — chained hand and foot, the Lord of the Jungle strains against his bonds in a spotlight-lit pit while armed guards close in around him and a pistol-wielding figure in a red uniform looms above. Joe Kubert both writes and draws this "Diamond Slaves" chapter, bringing his signature raw energy to every muscle and link of chain on the cover. It's a tense, visceral image that captures Tarzan at his most defiant.
