On the cover, a weathered man stands apart from a rust-eaten truck while a younger figure perches atop the cab — two people whose relationship already feels complicated before a single page is turned. Writer Matz and artist Philippe Xavier establish a striking visual identity right from the start, with Xavier's linework and Jean-Jacques Chagnaud's sun-bleached colors making "Un océan de pierre" feel like a road story with real weight behind it.
