Tales of the Teen Titans #62
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThe tagline says it all — "…And Trigon Decrees… Hell on Earth!" — and this February 1986 issue of Tales of the Teen Titans delivers a cover image that earns every word of that threat. Chuck Patton and Dick Giordano compose a genuinely unsettling scene: a group of Titans marches through a narrow corridor while the massive, ominous shadow of Trigon looms over them, and on either side enormous walls of writhing, tormented figures press in from all directions. Written by Marv Wolfman and George Pérez, with interior art by Pérez and Romeo Tanghal, this is the kind of issue that reminds you why the Titans' battle against Trigon felt like such high stakes storytelling in the mid-'80s.
