“A Woman's Revenge!”

"A Woman's Revenge!" is a chilling tale from Tales of Horror #13 (1954), a standout issue drawn entirely by Al Gordon, whose distinctive art brings the haunting atmosphere to life. When a ghost is granted a final visit to the living world, she returns to find her husband with another woman—only to face a deadly twist that tests the boundaries of love, betrayal, and the afterlife. The cover, also by Al Gordon, captures the story’s eerie tension in stark, expressive lines.

A restless ghost is allowed to come out of her grave and visit her husband. She's horrified to find him with another woman. That woman then tries to stab her husband in the back, and while the ghost has the ability to warn him, she doesn't so he will die and join her in the afterlife.
