Sheriff Sam Morrow discovers that a mysterious European visitor calling himself Rudolf Sevarian is no ordinary stranger—he's a vampire who's come to the American West, calculating that nobody here knows the folklore needed to stop him. As the killings mount and the desperate townspeople turn on their aging lawman, Sam must somehow uncover the secret to defeating a creature that laughs off bullets and flies through the night sky.
