Archie Andrews stumbles upon a treasure trove of vintage comics at a convention, including a mysterious box of Mighty Crusaders issues sold by Mr. Weatherbee. That night, as he flips through the pages, the heroes from the stories—Shield, Comet, Web, Black Jack, and Steel Sterling—step out of the comic book and into his backyard, facing off against a sinister legion of juggernauts.
When the Brain Emperor realizes he can't survive in Archie's world, he shifts his focus to Moose Mason—seeking a body strong in muscle but weak in mind. As the battle rages across Archie's front yard, the line between hero and villain blurs, and the Mighty Crusaders find themselves facing a new kind of threat from within.
