☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeLon McCallister stars in "Taffy," a story about a young woman who navigates camp life and romantic misadventures. The narrative includes episodes involving a courtroom scene with a judge, a father figure offering fishing advice to his son, and an encounter with police after a driving incident. Throughout the story, Taffy engages in various activities promoted by Camp Fire Girls, including social events, outdoor recreation, and skill-building programs for young women.
Two young reporters from Bonnybrook High School interview movie star Lon M'Callister at his hotel, hoping for a great story—but instead of gossip, he decides to give them (and their readers) a lesson in good citizenship. Through scenes of bullying, prejudice, and carelessness, M'Callister shows what respect for others really means, from standing up for the weak to honoring everyone's right to worship as they please.
Taffy and her dad promised the girls a fishing trip, but between a run-in with an overzealous cop and Captain Smith's curmudgeonly crew, the day on the water quickly spirals into chaotic comedy. When a massive fish gets hooked, nobody's quite prepared for what happens next—or who gets the credit when the dust settles.
