Ténèbres #3

The third chapter of Ténèbres, subtitled "Citadelle," arrives with a cover that stops you cold: a lone, small warrior stands illuminated in blue-white light, dwarfed almost to insignificance by a colossal armored dragon that fills the frame — all gnashing teeth, glowing red eyes, and jagged obsidian scales. Iko's artwork captures a sense of overwhelming scale and dread that feels entirely at home in this dark-fantasy series from Soleil. If the previous volumes had you hooked, this 2012 entry promises the tension is only getting heavier.
