Janus is secretly an agent for Warlord while being successfully added to the ranks of T.H.U.N.D.E.R., and has been outfitted with an invention that gives him substantial mental powers. When wearing his new helmet, Janus, aka Menthor, wants to aid T.H.U.N.D.E.R. instead of destroy it as ordered by Warlord. After he saves the headquarters from destruction, Janus removes his helmet and is back as Warlord's agent, having forgotten everything he did while he wore it.
