Swordquest #1
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeTwo lightly armored young heroes raise glowing swords aloft against a sweeping magenta zodiac disc — a striking image that sets the mythic, adventure-quest tone of DC's Swordquest right from issue one. George Pérez's pencils, inked by Dick Giordano, give the pair a dynamic, almost ritualistic energy, their gazes lifted as if answering some cosmic call. With Roy Thomas and Gerry Conway scripting "Book One, Earthworld!" and Pérez on interior art as well, this 1982 freebie was a genuinely ambitious crossover between comics storytelling and the era's gaming culture.
