Swing with Scooter #19
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeA gadget-gone-wrong makes for a wonderfully chaotic cover in this July 1969 installment of DC's teen humor series. Henry Scarpelli's cover depicts Scooter receiving an enthusiastic kiss from a red-haired girl while sitting near a now-exploding "Kiss-O-Meter" machine — springs, bolts, and debris flying everywhere — as a dark-haired girl looks on with exasperated disapproval, exclaiming that the machine was rented. With five cheerful teen faces beaming from the masthead above and a story titled "Osculation Frustration!" waiting inside, this issue captures the breezy, lovably absurd charm that made Swing with Scooter such a fun corner of the DC line.
