Swing with Scooter #17
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeDC's teen comedy series serves up a perfectly awkward scene in this March 1969 issue, with Henry Scarpelli's cover centering on a Bazaar Kissing Booth charging 25¢ per kiss. A lipstick-smudged fellow in a green jacket and floral bell-bottoms gets an earful from a frustrated blonde, while just beside them a dark-haired girl happily leans in for a kiss with another boy — prompting the speech bubble's exasperated complaint that "Penny's doing all the business!" It's a charming snapshot of late-'60s teen humor, rounding out with a cast of familiar faces peeking from the masthead above the bold red Scooter logo.
