This anthology issue contains two romantic stories. "Heartbreak's Memory" follows Anna, a woman haunted by memories of her past love Franz, a charming military officer who captivated her at a ball; when she encounters him again years later, she realizes his true nature and rejects him, only to have another man named Joel pursue her devotedly. "My Cabin by the Sea" depicts Patricia and Frank's relationship being tested when Frank insists on taking a shortcut through a dangerous mountain road despite Patricia's protests; after a harrowing accident involving their truck, Frank's selfishness is revealed, but he ultimately realizes his faults and begs Patricia to stay with him.
