Secretary Sandra hopes to win a radio slogan contest that will give her money, a copywriter job, and the attention of handsome radio writer Don. She overhears the radio men choosing the winning slogan and learns it was sent anonymously. Sandra submits the same slogan and is awarded the prize. She’s out of her depth in the new job but coaxes Don into helping her until he finally balks. Sandra learns the real author of the slogan is Mrs. Kate Higgins, an elderly widow. Sandra gives Mrs. Higgins the prize money and quits. Don tracks her down, says her solo writing was fine, and they clinch.
