This is an anthology issue containing at least two distinct stories. "The Aerial" follows a woman named Kona who receives mysterious whispered messages and uses an aerial device to transmit a secret to Tokyo during World War II, but the transmission is intercepted and destroyed by lightning before the enemy can receive it. A second story involves a police investigation into gang member "Lame John," where detectives trace a footprint to identify him as a suspect, leading to his arrest and interrogation. A third story features a character named Victor and a woman named Yvonne in a prison setting, with Yvonne initially held captive but freed when Victor arrives, only for them to discover that Satan and Mrs. Grundy are working together against them, forcing them to flee and call the police.
