The series was produced under Rob Liefeld's Extreme Studios imprint, one of the founding studios of Image Comics, with creative duties shared between Liefeld and artist-writer Brian Murray — Murray handling pencils and much of the script while Liefeld co-plotted and contributed inks alongside Danny Miki. The Infiniti backup strand, scripted by Eric Stephenson with pencils by Richard Horie and inks by Norm Rapmund, had been threading through several Extreme titles simultaneously, reflecting the cross-title editorial strategy Stephenson championed in the imprint's first year.
