With the jury divided and justice hanging in the balance, Pete prepares to execute Superman, but in Smallville, Superboy—now in Pete’s body—breaks free and calls upon Krypto, who turns the tide and restores both boys to their rightful forms.

In "Bloks historie," a former enemy recounts his past as Wildfire and Dawnstar evaluate new recruits for the Legion of Super-Heroes. When the Starburst Bandits break free, Blok proves his worth by confronting them alone—earning his place among the heroes.
