There, he confronts Jaxon, a man who wears his costume and fights him in a clash that rages across time before both are pulled back to 1975. When Father Time reveals himself as a Green Lantern from the 30th century, he explains that the battle between Superman and Jaxon was no accident—it was a desperate attempt to restore the multiverse, as the Time Trapper had erased all other timelines, leaving only this one doomed future.
