Superman / Wonder Woman #26

This April 2016 issue of Superman/Wonder Woman presents a striking cover by Ed Benes where two imposing, purple-clad energy-wielders stand triumphant amid devastation, crackling orbs of white light in their hands. Below them, both Superman and Wonder Woman lie sprawled and drained — the golden lasso still faintly glowing near her fallen form — suggesting the Power Couple has met a threat more than capable of bringing them low. With Peter J. Tomasi writing and Doug Mahnke on interiors, "Skyfall" looks to be a genuinely compelling chapter in this series.
