In "Mission à Kandor," Superman and Jimmy Olsen travel to the city of Kandor to oversee the election of its scientific council, only to find the proceedings disrupted by the Sepratists—led by Sor-El and Har-Lo—who seize a growth gas and use it to swell to three times the size of the native Kandorians, threatening the city’s stability. With the balance of power at stake, the fate of Kandor hangs in the air as the Sepratists push their radical agenda, testing the resolve of those who stand against them.
