“Les derniers jours de Superman”

In "Les derniers jours de Superman," Alan Moore crafts a poignant, character-driven story as Lois Lane Elliot reflects on the final days of Superman, ten years after his disappearance. With Curt Swan’s iconic art, George Pérez’s inks, and Gene D’Angelo’s colors, the tale unfolds through Lois’s memories—detailing Bizarro’s sudden violence, the Toyman and Prankster’s betrayal of Superman’s secret identity, and a coordinated assault on the Daily Planet by Metallos. As Superman retreats to the Fortress of Solitude with his closest allies, a mysterious visit from the Legion and Supergirl brings a haunting gift: a statuette that may hold more significance than anyone realizes. The cover, a striking collaboration by Ed Hannigan, Curt Swan, and Murphy Anderson, captures the story’s emotional weight.
