Superman Adventures #1

Written by Paul Dini, Scott McCloud, and others, with art by Rick Burchett and Mike Manley, it presents all-ages stories featuring the Man of Steel facing classic foes like Lex Luthor and Metallo in a style faithful to the cartoon's look and tone.
In "Men of Steel," Lex Luthor, furious after Superman destroys his Lex Skel 5000 battle suit, unleashes a new threat: a perfect Superman android designed to rival the real hero. As the android begins to mimic Superman’s powers and tactics, the line between hero and imposter blurs in a battle of wills and identity.
In "Distant Thunder," Superman faces a chilling return from the past as Brainiac reemerges, demanding the Kryptonian orb that holds the sum of his people's knowledge. With the fate of Krypton's legacy hanging in the balance, Superman must decide whether to protect the past or defend the present—before the weight of history becomes a weapon.
In "Eye to Eye," Jimmy Olsen finds himself in the middle of a high-stakes chase when two of Lex Luthor's goons steal a gravity amplifier from S.T.A.R. Labs and use it to overpower Superman. With only his camera as his weapon, Jimmy races to document the action as Superman pursues the thieves through Metropolis, capturing the moment the Man of Steel confronts the device’s power — and the truth behind the attack.
In "Balance of Power," Live Wire, reborn with a radical mission, seeks to redress decades of male dominance by silencing men's voices across mass communications. Superman, having bested her once, accepts her challenge for a rematch—this time using Luthor’s technology to counter her influence, testing the limits of power, principle, and control.
In "Seonimod," Superman faces a twisted challenge from Mr. Mxyzptlk, who forces him to relive a sequence of events in reverse—each step unraveling toward a catastrophic collapse of Metropolis. As the hero confronts the ripple effects of choices made in the past, he must navigate a timeline where every decision leads deeper into chaos.
