“Empire of Shadows”

In "Empire of Shadows," Superman faces his most personal threat yet when a Blue Earth agent steals his powers and masquerades as him, turning Metropolis against its protector. Written by Phillip Kennedy Johnson and illustrated by Rafa Sandoval, with colors by Matt Herms and letters by Dave Sharpe, this gripping issue blends intimate family moments with high-stakes action, all anchored by Steve Beach’s striking cover.
