With Metropolis under siege by Blue Earth members, the rest of the Super-Family—Superboy, Supergirl, Steel, and Super-Man of China—rally to defend the city, even as shadows from the past, like the Demon Etrigan and Bloodwynd, stir in the background.

In "New Worlds Part Five: The Conclusion," Superman, Etrigan, and Bloodwynd race to Earth Al Ghul to stop Otho-Ra from being fully claimed by Sister Shadow and her Empire of Shadows. As the invasion of Earth-0 begins, Lois Lane, Jimmy Olsen, Supergirl, Superboy, Kong Kenan, Steel, and the Blue Earth members must stand together to defend Metropolis—before the shadows consume everything.
