Together Superman and son wound the Eradicator and release the Kryptonian souls he had captured. They are all then drawn to a piece of Kryptonite in Metropolis, followed by the Eradicator. With the help of these ghosts, Superman is able to flee with Jon and Lois, heading for the moon.
