Cover by Dave Johnson.
In "Identitätskrise Kapitel 1: Käfige," Superman finds his identity unraveling when Brainiac, emerging from self-imposed hypnosis, discovers a boy named Chas who believes he is the Man of Steel. With a dangerous mind-swap in motion, Superman’s consciousness is trapped in Chas’s body, while Brainiac’s mind takes over Superman’s form—leaving Lois Lane, Dr. Guinness, and the others to confront the chaos of a fractured identity.
In "Identitätskrise Kapitel 2: Schlüssel," Superman—now trapped in the body of Chas Cassidy—fights to reclaim his identity while evading capture after a tragic accident in the sanatorium leaves a nurse dead. With Brainiac comfortably ensconced in the body of the Steel Man and the truth buried beneath shifting identities, Lois, Cat, and Jimmy race to uncover what’s real before the line between hero and fugitive vanishes entirely.
