Superman #30
In "Vom Glück verfolgt," Superman faces a delightfully chaotic twist when the mischievous Mr. Mxyzptlk goes to extreme lengths to reunite Lois and Clark—only for Superman to use his one wish not for love, but to send the prankster back to the fifth dimension. Meanwhile, Bibbo triumphs over "Killer" Adams in a surprisingly fair boxing match. Written by Louise Simonson and Christian Heiß, with art by Jon Bogdanove and inks by Dennis Janke, this 1998 issue delivers charm and cleverness in equal measure, its vibrant colors by Glenn Whitmore and Digital Chameleon enhancing the whimsical tone. The cover by Bogdanove and Janke captures the story’s playful energy.
When the mischievous Mr. Mxyzptlk sets his sights on reuniting Superman and Lois Lane—despite their current distance—Clark must resist the temptation to use the villain’s power for his own gain. Instead, he channels his one wish not to win Lois back, but to send the interdimensional prankster back to the fifth dimension. Meanwhile, Bibbo Bibbowski proves his mettle in a surprisingly fair boxing match against the notorious Hunya "Killer" Adams.
