Superman #24/1976
In a shadow-drenched carnival under a flickering moon, Batman races against time to recover a stolen prize hidden among the midway's twisted attractions. With the city gripped by fear and the mysterious Vogelscheuche unleashing terror through an eerie gas, Batman must outwit both petty thieves and the chilling presence of a foe whose weapon is pure dread. Polizeichef James "Jim" Gordon watches from the sidelines, while Robert Toomey nervously waits to see if the night will end in justice—or chaos.
When Robin, his girlfriend Lori Elton, and campus police chief McDonald set out on a Christmas morning charity run, their good deeds are interrupted by a group of thieves disguised as Santa Claus. With the help of Batman and Alfred Pennyworth, Robin tracks down the culprits, but the mystery deepens when the gang’s true motives begin to unravel. Meanwhile, Tante Harriet and Mr. Kelly watch from the sidelines, adding a touch of holiday warmth to the unfolding chaos.
