Superman #205
Superman #205 brings Brian Azzarello and Jim Lee together for the second chapter of "For Tomorrow," and the cover — penciled by Jim Lee and inked by Scott Williams — makes an immediate impression. A battered, red-eyed Superman surges forward through billowing smoke and debris, clutching what appears to be a missile while more ordnance fills the air around him, his cape and expression radiating barely contained fury. It's a striking 2004 snapshot of the Man of Steel pushed to his limits, rendered with the kinetic detail that makes this creative team's run so compelling.
