Superman #196
In "Dr. Metropolis," Clark Kent steps into a new role within Metropolis's crime unit, only to face a devastating explosion that leaves a surgeon with mysterious abilities—and a burning belief that Superman is to blame. Written by Steven T. Seagle and brought to life by Scott McDaniel’s dynamic art, this 2003 issue explores the weight of unintended consequences, with Andy Owens handling inks, Tanya and Richard Horie on colors, and Comicraft on lettering. The cover, also by McDaniel and Owens, captures the moment’s tension with striking precision.
