Superman #19/1968
In "Die kalte Hand des Schicksals," Pitt experiences a chilling vision in his sleep—each time, the temperature drops, and with it, his glimpse into the future grows clearer. One night, he dreams of shooting Batman, a moment that leaves him shaken and questioning the weight of what he’s seen. Art by Chic Stone, inks by Sid Greene, with a cover by Irv Novick.
Pitt Ossekop’s chilling ability to glimpse the future comes at a cost—each vision demands a colder temperature than the last. When he dreams of shooting Batman, the icy dread of that vision begins to blur the line between prophecy and obsession.
In "Denkmaldiebe," alien game players treat Earth's landmarks as chess pieces in a high-stakes cosmic game, turning historic buildings into pawns. Supergirl, caught in the crossfire, must race to protect iconic structures before they're dismantled—while facing off against the cunning Zikka and the enigmatic Roxxi, who seem to be playing their own dangerous game.
Jimmy Olsen picks up Lois Lane’s sister, Lucy, from the airport and finds himself instantly smitten—so much so that he tries to impress her by slipping into a series of increasingly outlandish disguises. With help from Mr. Thompson and a skeptical "Grips" Jones, Jimmy’s antics spiral as he attempts to win Lucy’s favor, all while Superman (in his Clark Kent guise) tries to keep the chaos from spiraling out of control.
