From 1964, Superman #169 spotlights "The Bizarro Invasion of Earth!" right on its cover, where a grinning Bizarro leads a sky-filling army of his imperfect duplicates straight toward a horrified Superman — while the Earth itself crumbles under a Bizarro's assault in the foreground, with a straining Atlas barely keeping things together below. Curt Swan and George Klein deliver a wonderfully chaotic scene that captures just how overwhelming a whole legion of backwards Supermen could be.
