Supermagasinet #7/1982
In "null," a young man named Pete Ross, driven by grief over his son Jon's disappearance, uses a time-traveling machine and a mind-transfer device to bring Superboy from the past into the future—only to switch minds with him. Now in Superboy’s body, Pete stages a trial of Superman before his closest allies, accusing him of failing to protect Jon. As the jury debates the charges, the real Superboy, trapped in Pete’s body in Smallville, breaks free and calls upon Krypto. The dog’s sudden attack on Pete disrupts the mind swap, leading to a reversal that restores both boys to their rightful forms.
In "null," the Legion faces a new threat when the Starburst Bandits—led by the enigmatic Vrzzk and his allies—break free from containment, their chaotic energy destabilizing nearby cities. As the team scrambles to respond, the past resurfaces through flashbacks to Dr. Vukoz’s experiments, revealing connections to figures like Gretal, Jorj, and Marta, whose fates remain entwined with the Bandits’ origins. The story unfolds with a tense mix of legacy and urgency, as the Legion’s newest recruit, Blok, must confront the very forces that shaped his past.
