“¡Mátame o muere!”

In "¡Mátame o muere!", Superman faces a cunning foe in Karb-brak, who manipulates the public into idolizing Clark Kent—turning the city into a living shield. With Curt Swan’s dynamic art and Cary Bates’ sharp storytelling, the battle reaches a shocking twist when Karb-brak reveals his fatal connection to Superman, leaving the Man of Steel reeling. The cover by Bob Oksner captures the intensity of the moment, a 4.00 MXP comic from 1977 that remains a standout in the series.
