Tied to DC's 2019 "Year of the Villain: The Offer" event, this issue promises a Kryptonian confrontation of the highest order. The cover by Kevin Maguire shows Supergirl landing a blazing punch square into the face of a dark-armored, Kryptonian-crest-bearing villain, while a determined young hero in a red cape charges in below and a goggled figure looms in the foreground — all under the glowering red eyes of a massive shadowy presence overhead.
