Through vivid flashbacks, he revisits the moment when his youthful clumsiness inadvertently saved Krypto, bringing him back home.

In "The Puzzle of the Disappearing Pitcher!", Superboy races to solve a baffling mystery when the star pitcher of a crucial baseball game vanishes without a trace just before game time. With the young Bruce Wayne also tracking the same strange disappearance, the two teens team up to uncover the truth behind the baffling case.
