Hero invites some of the Ravers to spend Christmas with his family, but their holiday is ruined by the arrival of the Scavenger, who wants the Achilles Vest that Hero wears. In the Scavenger's vault, Hero finds the H-Dial and uses it to stop the madman. Elsewhere (on his home planet of Boring II), Raver Phat-Boy is murdered by an unseen assailant.
