With the help of a brilliant plan and a massive battery, Superboy must find a way to restore the gorilla to its normal state before the power grows beyond reach.

In "The Bird with Super-Powers," Superboy finds himself tangled in a mystery when Professor Lang returns from a trip with a mynah bird that seems to possess strange abilities and human-like intelligence. When the bird is stolen and used to frame Superboy by a crook who paints it in his colors, the young hero must clear his name—only to discover the bird’s powers stem from an unexpected source tied to a legendary African pool.
