Here's a 1966 DC gem that poses a genuinely intriguing question right on its cover: can anyone be braver than Superboy himself? The cover, penciled by Curt Swan and inked by George Klein, depicts Superboy urging a yellow-costumed hero called Supremo to stand back from a fearsome cave monster wreathed in flame — while Supremo defiantly pushes past him, eager to prove his courage. It's a lively, eye-catching standoff that makes you want to find out exactly how these two stack up against each other, with interior work by writer Otto Binder and artist/inker George Papp rounding out the package.
