Part of DC's New 52 initiative, Superboy #12 from October 2012 plunges the clone hero into what the cover boldly promises are "Horrors of the Mind!" Steve Lightle's cover art depicts Superboy in his red-and-black suit, arms outstretched and surging with green energy as he confronts a massive, shadowy creature looming behind him — its own glowing green eyes blazing with menace. With Tom DeFalco writing and art from Robson Rocha and Eduardo Pansica, "Night Games!" looks set to test Superboy against something deeply unsettling.
