Skurge descobre que a visão de Encantor era falsa, e com seu machado destrói Naglfar, o navio construído com a unha dos mortos para ser usado na invasão a Asgard. Os guerreiros do inferno armam um cerco para impedir a fuga dos guerreiros de Asgard, Skruge derruba Thor de surpresa, e fica no caminho do exército infernal para ganhar tempo.
