Superaventuras Marvel #82
In "Ataque," New York City plunges into darkness as mysterious thunderstorms disrupt the city, sparking chaos. With a rogue gang emboldened by a Vietnam veteran known only as Balaço, Daredevil sets up a makeshift shelter while teaming up with the Black Widow to restore order. Written by Ann Nocenti and Estúdio Artêcomix, with art by John Romita Jr. and inks by Al Williamson, this 1989 issue captures a tense, grounded moment in the Marvel Universe, its vivid colors by Max Scheele and sharp lettering by Estúdio Artêcomix bringing the stormy streets to life. The cover, also by Romita Jr. and Williamson, sets the tone with a striking, shadowed image of the city in turmoil.
When strange thunderstorms plunge New York City into darkness, a rogue gang led by the newly introduced villain Balaço begins terrorizing the streets, driven by the twisted influence of a Vietnam veteran. With the city in chaos, Demolidor sets up a makeshift shelter and teams up with Viúva Negra to protect the people, while facing off against new threats like Bullet, Arcanjo, and Fome—each with their own dangerous agendas.
In "A Revolta de Magog," Longshot finds himself caught between old alliances and new threats as Mojo captures Ricochet Rita in a bid to extract secrets from him. While trying to stay one step ahead, Longshot forms an unexpected bond with a group of comic-obsessed kids—Butch, Darla, and Alfie—whose lives are suddenly upended when their former friend, now transformed into the vengeful Magog, emerges with a single goal: to destroy him.
