Um director está impressionado com as acrobacias físicas de Longshot e oferece-lhe trabalho como duplo. Longshot torna-se amigo de Rita, e os dois deslumbram as cameras. Longshot é atacado por caçadores do seu mundo natal e é resgatado por Magog, que está a começar a crescer e a transformar-se numa criatura de aparência mais demoníaca. Durante as filmagens, os poderes da sorte do Longshot abandonam-o, já que ganhar dinheiro não é considerado um objectivo digno e ele é cortado por lasers. O director apressa Longshot para o hospital, mas acaba despejando-o num rio e deixa-o para morrer.
