Super-Villain Team-Up / Modok's 11 #2
MODOK looms large and menacing at the center of Marko Djurdjević's striking cover, his oversized head and mechanical body rendered with an almost grotesque intensity as four circular portrait medallions — featuring what appear to be teammates from his eclectic crew of villains — flank him in a bold graphic arrangement. It's a confident visual statement for the second chapter of this five-part 2007 limited series, assembling a roster of Marvel rogues under the most unlikely of masterminds. Fred Van Lente and Francis Portela's "Prevenge or: The Plan" promises exactly the kind of scheming, double-crossing ensemble energy that makes a super-villain caper so much fun.
