Super Sons #16

Jorge Jiménez's cover for this 2018 penultimate issue of Super Sons captures Superboy and Robin striding through a city street bathed in warm sunset light — Superboy's casual hoodie-over-cape look front and center, while a watchful Damian Wayne holds back just a step behind. There's a quietly confident energy to the image, the two boys framed against urban storefronts (including a telltale question-mark sign) as birds scatter in the golden sky above. "End of Innocence Part Two" promises plenty of tension from writer Peter J. Tomasi and artists Carlo Barberi and Brent Peeples, making this a compelling chapter in one of DC's most enjoyable ongoing team-ups.
