As Artaban rescues the slave girl Roxana from Hyrkanian raiders and reluctantly takes on the task of freeing the imprisoned Prince Teyaspa, Conan forms an uneasy alliance with Vinashko, a former Yuetshi chief who reveals a hidden path to Gleg the Zaporoskan’s fortress. The journey unfolds through treachery and shadowed halls, where fate and bloodshed converge in a storm of swords and secrets.
