When Scampy the circus clown meets Sam Camper, a wealthy boy sneaking away from his chauffeur, the two strike up an unlikely friendship—and hatch a scheme to trade places for three days. Scampy gets his wish to experience the life of luxury Sam lives, while Sam dives into the thrilling world of the big top; but as the days wear on, both boys discover that the grass isn't quite as green on the other side. By the time they reunite to switch back, each has gained a newfound appreciation for the life he already had.

Young Chester Smith gets swept up by the magic of Alonzo the Great's trapeze act at Super Circus and impulsively decides to run away to join the show—but his bold attempt to prove himself on the high wire puts him in real danger. Mary Hartline and Alonzo must work together to save the boy from a perilous situation, leading Chester to a hard lesson about the people waiting for him at home.

Nicky the tramp clown visits his cousin Abner's farm for the first time and quickly learns that country life is full of surprises—starting with mistaking Abner's prize bull for a friendly cow. As Nicky stumbles through one farm mishap after another, the cousins trade pranks and tricks, each determined to get the upper hand.
