Super Brat Ollie Orwell earns his place in the Cub Scouts and sets out to rack up good deeds—but his well-intentioned efforts to help quickly spiral into chaos when his super strength gets the better of him. From a disastrous encounter at a bus stop to washing dishes in the wrong machine and literally spinning his house around, Ollie learns that doing the right thing isn't always as simple as it seems. A charming romp through one young hero's overeager attempts to prove himself.

Super-Brat springs into action when a group of older boys embarks on a "beeline hike"—a straight-line trek across the countryside that requires hikers to go through or over every obstacle in their path—and refuses to let the younger boy tag along. Determined to teach them a lesson, Super-Brat uses his super-speed to sabotage their journey by moving obstacles, cooking chicken at incredible friction, redirecting a Canadian stream, and creating all manner of havoc along their route. By the time the hikers encounter an actual emergency that needs rescuing, they might just discover what they've been missing.
