This anthology issue contains three stories: "Young Joey in Story-book Land," in which Young Joey and Sir Francis encounter various storybook characters and situations while playing a game of bowls that leads them to accidentally launch themselves and others into the air aboard Sir Francis's ship; "Rogues of Sherwood Forest," adapted from the Columbia Technicolor film, depicting Robin Hood and his men rescuing Tom Cruikshank from the King's forces and battling Norman soldiers in Sherwood Forest; and "The Chums of St. Clement's," in which the Battleaxe and her school friends search for missing nuts and investigate mysterious occurrences at their school. Additionally, the issue features "A Ticket to Tomahawk," a comic adaptation, and "The Black Rose," another illustrated story.
